Policies and Warranties

Effective: June 30, 2017

The Leantegra Returns & Warranty Policy is an integral part of the Leantegra Terms of Sale and Service agreement (“Agreement”). Therefore, please refer to the Agreement if there is any need to clarify any of the undefined terms that are used in this Policy.

 

The Warranty

All Leantegra devices including WiBeat BLE beacon, WiBeat UWB location tag, WiRange wireless gateway, (hereinafter referred to as “Hardware”) are covered by the 2 (two) year warranty (“Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period starts on the shipping date, the day when the products were shipped to you. Both WiBeat BLE and WiBeat UWB devices’ batteries are excluded from the warranty period.

 

If the Leantegra hardware stops functioning during the Warranty Period in a result of a production failure, we will fix or replace the products for free.

In case of Hardware replacement, Leantegra will cover shipping costs of the delivery method with the maximum delivery time frame of 30 calendar days. If a consumer requires expedited shipping, additional charges may apply.

Exclusions

Below we list the conditions under which the Warranty loses its force and no longer applies:

  •  damage of Hardware resulting from negligence, mishandling or abuse
  •  damage of Hardware resulting from unauthorized modification of the product
  •  damage of Hardware resulting from unauthorized modification of the product
  •  damage of Hardware caused by natural disaster
  •  damage of Hardware caused by an accident
  •  damage of Hardware caused by firmware or casing modifications
  •  damage caused by water, electrical disturbance, hazardous chemicals or force majeure
  •  replacement of connectors and fixtures
  •  improper usage or storage of Hardware
  •  theft or loss of Hardware

We reserve the right to establish whether the Hardware malfunction happened due to one of the above mentioned reasons.

Exercise of the Warranty

If you have encountered a production failure in any of our Hardware, you must promptly send us an email at contact@leantegra.com and communicate with our team in order to resolve the problem. In the event our team cannot assist in solving the problem, you must agree to the replacement terms of defective Hardware that will be suggested by our team.

If you decide to send us the defective Hardware without having previously consulted one of our team members, you will bear all responsibility along with the costs which occur as a result of such actions.

Return Policy

The Leantegra Hardware can be returned only if its condition is unsatisfactory and caused by the Leantegra production failure. For more information, please refer to the Sales and Service Agreement.

Consumer Laws of Your Country

If you, as a consumer, are covered by consumer protection legislation of your country of residence, and its regulations differ from the points laid out in our Returns and Warranty Policy, you may have rights to return the purchased Hardware if it does not function properly due to a production failure. Therefore, please email our team at contact@leantegra.com and we will assist you in specifying your consumer rights.

HARDWARE PROVIDED TO YOU IN CONNECTION WITH THE AGREEMENT IS PROVIDED TO YOU “AS IS”. APART FROM THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED ABOVE, WE DO NOT MAKE, AND HEREBY EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM, ANY WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION WITH RESPECT TO HARDWARE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. LEANTEGRA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE OPERATION OF THE HARDWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR FREE OR THAT THE HARDWARE WILL MEET YOUR OR ANY THIRD PARTY’S EXPECTATIONS.
